Weihenstephan Standards – User Workshop 2025

This year, we are hosting a workshop focused on “IT Infrastructure in Food Processing” and “Practical Implementation of the Weihenstephan Standards (WS).”

In the first half of the day, dedicated to IT Infrastructure in Food Processing, three speakers from different areas and company sizes within the food industry will share insights into their production-related IT infrastructures. They will present their approaches to implementation, discuss challenges and benefits of their systems, and will be available for questions afterward.

During the second half of the workshop, the SPS working group will demonstrate the process of implementing the Weihenstephan Standards — from the PLC level to the KPI system — using a practical example. We will highlight challenges and approaches related to the new OPC UA–based implementation.
